Remove the stone grate.

Loosen the 3 screws at the bottom of the heating element.
To do this, access the screws from above between the heating
element and the outer casing.

Hold the tubular heating elements and lift the heating element from the
heater.
The heating element consists of the inner casing, the heating coil and
the terminal box. These are firmly attached to each other on the
lower grate.
