Solving the Problem
Much of the existing network configuration can remain as it was for

. However, Switch 3, Switch 5, and the devices that will
make up Publication’s Grey VLAN have been added.
Switch 5 will be configured to isolate all AppleTalk protocol frame traffic to the devices in the
Grey VLAN and all other protocol traffic to the Yellow VLAN. Switch 3 will link the traffic from
Switch 5 to the buildings network backbone.
