3.3 Wireless
Click on the
Wireless
link on the navigation drop-
down menu. You will then see six options: SSID,
11a, 11b, 11g, Advanced, and SNMP. The
configuration steps are described below.
3.3.1 SSID Configuration
Click on the
SSID
link under the
Wireless
menu. This page allows you specify the
SSID (network name) or specify a preferred SSID that you would like the device to
connect to.
Wireless Network Name (SSID)
: The name used to identify the wireless network.
The SSID is a unique named shared amongst all the points of the wireless network.
The SSID must be identical on all points of the wireless network and cannot exceed
32 characters.
