10.1.3. Tension

the

roller

chains

To tension the roller chains proceed as follows:

Hazard
During the adjustment, you are underneath the unit. Use lawful hoisting
and lifting equipment.

1. Make sure the power supply has been

switched of

2. Lift the unit.

3. Verify the slack between the upside of the

middle roller and the frame of the unit.

If the clearance exceedes 10 mm then
continue with the next steps.

4. Unscrew the four bolts [1] at the rear side of

the unit (so the side

of the stairs) …

both at the left- and the right hand side
