OPERATION
(Refer to pp. 7 & 8 for Parts Identification)
5. Turn the Dial Switch to the lowest
setting (see Figure C). The Power
Indicator Light will turn red. Within
a few seconds, it will turn green,
indicating that there is enough water.
Mist will emit through the Mist Nozzle.
6. Use the Dial Switch to adjust the
intensity of the mist output. When the
dial switch is turned further to the right,
the mist output will be set to the
maximum level. You may notice a fine
mist of water around the unit when
dial is set to the maximum level. To
eliminate that, simply turn the dial to
the left to set to a lower level.
7. When the desired humidity level is
reached (50%), the dial switch can be
set to a lower level by turning to the left.
8. When the humidifier runs out of water, the Power Indicator Light will
turn red and the unit will stop emitting mist. This is a safety feature.
Turn the humidifier off and unplug the unit before removing and refilling
the Water Tank.
OPERATION
BEFORE EACH USE
IMPORTANT: Do not operate the humidifier
without water inside the Water Tank. Due
to risk of electric shock, do not handle the
cord or the plug with wet hands.
1. Remove cover (see Figure A).Turn Water
Tank upside down and unscrew the Water
Tank Cap, (see Figure B).
2. Fill the Water Tank with cool water. Use
bottled water labeled “distilled” or water
with low mineral content to prevent the
build-up of scale and the dispersal of minerals
into the air. Bottled waters labeled “spring”,
“artesian” or “mineral” have not been treated
to remove mineral content.
Do not add anything to the water, such as
the essential oils, salt or medicine.
Do not fill water all the way to the rim.
3. Place the Water Tank Cap back on the
Water Tank, make sure it is secure. Turn the
Water Tank over and place it back onto the
base of the humidifier.
Important: Do not try to move the
humidifier once it has been filled with
water; water leakage may occur.
4. Plug the unit into the wall outlet.
Before each use always check the placement of your humidifier. Always
place it on a leveled, waterproof, non-metallic surface, at least a couple of
feet off the floor. Do not place the humidifier on a carpet or towel as it may
obstruct the vent of the fan. Do not place the humidifier on a wooden
surface or near furniture that can be easily damaged by excessive moisture.
TIPS ON USAGE
- In cold weather, windows may fog or develop frost from the excessive
humidity. If this occurs, simply reduce the mist output by rotating the dial
to the left to avoid damage.
- Too much humidity may damage furniture and walls/wallpaper.
- To reduce excessive humidity, leave the room door open and adjust the
mist intensity using the dial switch.
