IMPORTANT:
To improve the efficiency of your humidifier and reduce the possibility of
health hazard, it is advised that you take the following precautions:
1. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended cleaning and maintenance
instructions.
2. The amount of minerals and impurities in the water source is varied;
therefore periodical cleaning of the humidifier is necessary.
3. During the hot seasons, check the film or scale, built up on the humidifier,
and all moving parts, every 2 weeks, and establish a proper cleaning schedule.
4. Do not allow film or scale build up on the humidifier or any moving parts,
it will reduce the efficiency or life span of the humidifier.
5. At the end of the winter season, drain and thoroughly clean your humidifier
as part of the summer shut down.
Like your heating system or air conditioning unit, periodic cleaning and
maintenance are required to ensure the safe and efficient operation of
your humidifier.
