Installing a Device Driver
(DD) for the3095
Engineering Assistant
for Fieldbus

If, after you scan the Fieldbus segment, an “Unable to read the device tag”
message appears on the screen, make sure the necessary device driver (DD)
is installed.

To install a Fieldbus DD for National Instruments:

Save DD (.ffo, .sym files) to local computer, if necessary.

Close the Engineering Assistant application and NI-FBUS.

Start the NI Interface Configuration Utility.
