If
Q1
or
Q2
have been selected, there will be the automatic addition of the display of the Personal Index
(PI = [Maximum Flow – Minimum Flow] / Mean Flow)
. The PI measurement is updated every 4 seconds.
The scale values can be changed (see limits) by selecting and pressing the Scales field.
Scale values of the flow measurement systems:
+ 28.0 lpm to – 28.0 lpm
Scale values of the time axis:
4.7 seconds or 14.1 minutes
2 Graphs Mode
By selecting the 2 Graphs field and pressing the knob, it is possible to display the real-time curves of two
measurement systems simultaneously in the main display field (e.g.
Q1
and
Q2
):
The primary measurement system, the system displayed during the
1 Graph
mode (only one graph is present,
e.g.
Q1
), is displayed as the upper graph. The secondary measurement system, displayed below the primary
measurement system, can be selected from the remaining activated measurement systems. The selected
secondary system has a gray background (e.g.
Q2
) and the primary measurement system still has the purple
background (e.g.
Q1
). The scale values for the secondary system can also be changed analogous to the
1 Graph
mode. The time axis for both systems is the same. The scale values for the primary (upper) system
are displayed on the left and the secondary system scales are displayed on the right Y-axis. One returns to
the
1 Graph
mode by selecting the
1 Graph
field and pressing the knob.
6.7 Activation of the Volume Measuring Mode (Volume)
In the
Volume
menu, it is possible to measure the volume of the liquid flowing through the tubing system. For
this measurement
Flow Measurement System 1
must be used. This measurement can take place parallel to
the flow measurement. This means that the
Volume
menu can be left after starting the volume measurement
and the measurement will continue to run in the background.
The measurement setup is similar to that of the normal flow measurement. The flow offset of
Flow Measurement System 1
should be set to zero, as explained above, before the measurement
takes place. It is critical to strictly adhere to the calibration parameters. The accuracy of the
volume measurement is dependent on the flow measurement system and can be reduced by
improper use.
