Safety of children and other
vulnerable groups
This appliance can be used by
children from the age of 8 upwards,
and by individuals with reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, on condition that they
are supervised or instructed in how
to use the appliance safely, and that
they understand the hazards involved.
Children must not be allowed to play
with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must
not be carried out by children without
supervision. Keep all packaging away
from children to avoid the risk of
suffocation.
To dispose of the appliance, unplug
the appliance from the power socket,
cut off the power cord (as close to the
appliance as possible) and remove the
door so that playing children cannot
get an electric shock or become
trapped in the appliance.
lf this appliance replaces an older
appliance that has a spring lock (latch)
on the door or lid, be sure to make
the spring lock unusable before you
discard the old appliance. This will
prevent it from becoming a death trap
for a child.
