Movable shelves/trays
Various glass or plastic storage shelves or wire trays are
included with your appliance – different models have
different combinations and different models have different
features.
The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a series of
runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired.
Positioning the door shelves
To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the
door shelves can be placed at different heights.
To adjust, gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the
arrows until it comes free, then reposition as required.
Vegetable drawer
The drawer is suitable for storing fruit and vegetables.
Ice-cube production
This appliance is equipped with one or more trays for the
production of ice cubes.
Freezing fresh food
The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food
and storing frozen and deep-frozen food for a long time.
The maximum amount of food that can be frozen in 24 hours
is specified on the rating plate, a label located on the inside
of the appliance.
The freezing process lasts 24 hours: during this period do
not add any other foods to be frozen.
Noises from the appliance
The sounds listed below are perfectly normal for
refrigeration appliances:
Clicks -
Whenever the compressor switches on or off, a
click can be heard.
Humming -
As soon as the compressor is in operation, you
can hear it humming.
Bubbling -
When refrigerant flows into thin tubes, you can
hear bubbling or splashing noises.
Splashing -
Even after the compressor has been switched
off, this noise can be heard for a short time.
Energy saving tips
Do not install the appliance near cookers, radiators or other
sources of heat.
Do not open the door too often or leave the door open any
Storing frozen food
When first starting up or after a period out of use: Before
putting the product in the compartment, let the appliance run
at least 2 hours on the colder settings.
Important!
In the event of accidental defrosting ,for example the power
has been off for longer than 15 hours, the defrosted food
must be consumed quickly or cooked immediately and then
re-frozen (after cooked).
Thawing
Before using deep-frozen or frozen food, it can be thawed in
the freezer compartment or at room temperature, depending
on the time available for this step.
Small pieces of food may even be cooked while still frozen,
straight from the freezer. In this case, cooking will take
longer.
Important!
In order to make the most of the volume of the fresh food
storage compartment and frozen-food storage compartment,
the user can remove one or more shelves or drawers from
the appliance, to suit your daily use.

Tips for fresh food refrigeration
To obtain the best performance:
Do not store warm foods or evaporating liquids in the
appliance.
Do cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong
flavour.
