Bus gateway BGW14 and 4-wire sensors
ID range:
The
operating mode rotary switch BA
of each BGW14 device must be set to a different position. Each gateway then
uses a different address range in decimal steps of 20.
Bus output ID at Pos. 1 = 0x 00 00 19 00 + sensor address xx
Bus output ID at Pos. 2 = 0x 00 00 19 20 + sensor address xx
Bus output ID at Pos. 3 = 0x 00 00 19 40 + sensor address xx
up to ...
Bus output ID at Pos. 8 = 0x 00 00 19 E0 + sensor address xx
Example:
BA = 2; sensor ID = 04
Bus output ID 0x 00 00 19 24
Notes on PCT14:
The BGW14 device receives no device address and cannot be configured by the PCT14.
LED function test:
The green LED lights up briefly when data is output on the RS485 bus and lights up permanently when a connection to FAM14 or
FTS14KS was set up by PCT14.
Use with visualisation software GFVS 4.0:
A
FGW14-USB
gateway is absolutely required when the device is also operated by the visualisation software GFVS 4.0. This then
permits values to be synchronised between the display and the GFVS. Create the actuator type BUTH65D and then select the dialog
"Teach-in to actuators". The bus sensor waits for a teach-in telegram which must be confirmed briefly in the next dialog window.
After all the sensors are taught in, carry out a power reset of the 12 V sensor power supply.
