Where the 105G
module is mounted at
the end of the RS485
link, then the RS485
link should be
terminated by
switching the
termination switch “on”
(down in the above
diagram).

Note: The rotary
selector dial on the end
plate should be set to
zero. If it is set to a non-zero position, the user-configured Profibus Slave address will be
over-written by the selection.

For 105U-G-ET1 modules only.

The Ethernet connection uses
a standard RJ45 connector on
the top end-plate of the
module. The selector
switches should all be “off”
(in the diagram below, “off”
is up).
