By pressing the
H
(CLEAR) button the register is returned to programming the PLU code of the item
originally desired.
If the entered code has not yet been assigned to any other PLU, the register continues programming the
next PLU. To exit the programming mode press the
W
button. After pressing it, the register starts to
sort the bar codes signaled on the display. The sorting time depends on the number of programmed bar
codes. After sorting the register returns to the basic programming mode „P MODE“.
Note 1: If you switch off the register during the sorting, you can continue sorting by switching the register
back on.
Note 2: To secure a reliable functioning of bar code scanning it is important to program the scanner cor-
rectly and connect it properly to the cash register.
Parameters of setting the bar code scanner:
number of data bits - 8
parity - none
stop bit - 1
transmission speed - according to setting of the fifth register system flag
end character - according to setting of the fifth register system flag

Programming procedure:
Enter the bar code of the goods and press the
V
button. After pressing the
V
button, the cash
register verifies whether the entered bar code is not assigned to any other PLU. If there is a duplicate PLU,
the information will appear on the display.
