Euro-2000M Alpha Registration mode
4.2. Status and functions that are necessary to be known before the
beginning of registration
4.2.1. Error warning -
H
button
(CLEAR)
Because of incorrect use of a function key or by exceeding the registration range, the machine starts an
error beep. An error message appears on the display. To recover and correct the condition, simply press the
H
(CLEAR) key. You will notice that the error code is cleared from the display. Enter correct function or
amount.
4.2.2. Cashier log in button
M
(PASSWORD)
The cash register allows assigning up to six cashiers a secret identification number (password). The cashier
passwords as well as their names are programmed in the programming mode. If you want to use the cashier
identification, enter the numeric password and press the
M
button. For extra security, press the
M
button
before the password entry. A notification of
PASSWORD
is displayed. The password numbers entered are
not visible on the display at this time. If an incorrect password is entered the register beeps twice and
remains locked. Enter the correct number and press the
M
button to unlock the register. The password
protection prevents unauthorized use of the cash register. If the cashiers name has been programmed, the
name will print in the receipt header area after the cashier log.
4.2.3. Cashier log out button
M
(PASSWORD)
If the cash register has been protected from unauthorized use, the cashier should log out by pressing the
M
button after finishing registration. The notification
PASSWORD
appears and the cash register is locked
until the correct password is entered. When the cash register is locked registration cannot be performed and
the drawer will not open. This function is being used when the cashiers are being changed or when the cashier
leaves the register.
4.2.4. Finalization of transaction.
Pressing one of the buttons for payment determines that all transactions are completed. Determine the
payment method (by cash, by credit card, by check etc.). Finish the transaction by pressing one of the
following buttons
W
(TOTAL),
R
(CREDIT),
Q
(CHECK).
