Euro-2000M Alpha
Introduction, basic characteristics
The Citizen MD-910 printer uses an ink ribbon cassette for printing. One ribbon cassette is included in
standard delivery of the cash register. A ribbon cassette of good quality contributes to clear and contrasting
print.
After a certain time the ink is consumed by printing and the cassette must be replaced. The ink ribbon
replacement is necessary if the ink ribbon or cassette is defective. The defective ink ribbon can be
recognized by the threads at the edges or by the gaps in the ribbon fabric. Improper print can be also result
from a defective cassette mechanism. In such cases the printer is worn-out very quickly and can be
damaged. The damages of the printer mechanisms caused by the defective ink ribbon cassette are not
covered by manufacturers guarantee.

It is recommended that ink ribbons be purchased from authorized dealers or authorized service
centers of the Euro-2000. This will prevent many problems and misunderstandings.!!!

2.9. Usage and storage of paper.
The printer of Euro-2000M Alpha prints on self-copying paper of width 56 mm.
Journal paper storage recommendations:
- do not expose thermo paper to direct light,
- store at temperature not higher than 40°C,
- avoid contact of thermo paper with PVC, mollificators, organic
dissolvent or glue.
It is necessary to use paper rolls of good quality. We recommend the use of paper rolls made known
manufactures.
In case of violation of usage or storage recommendations, Elcom s. r. o. does not guarantee the high
quality of printing or preservation of printed data.
