Current Input readings

Heartbeat

The AIM module has an internal heartbeat counter that can be used to check that the

AIM module is alive.

Module temperature

The AIM module has its own thermometer that measures the temperature of the
module continually with 3 °C (Celsius) accuracy. The thermometer is inbuilt in the
control microprocessor. Because the processor generates heat when operating, the
temperature value is always a bit higher than the ambient temperature.

Memory self test

During start-up the module performs several memory tests on itself to make sure it
functions correctly.
