D48U - INTERCOM-CONTROL UNIT WITH 2 STEREO CHANNELS

ON/OFF/OK BUTTON
It activates the music source, validates menu options and allows quick access to functions. It cancels the call
to the door intercom without opening the door.

It indicates that the music source is on in that room.

It indicates the possibility of confirming the selection of the option on the active menu.

MENU/DOOR INTERCOM BUTTON
Access to the different menus and to quick access functions. It opens the door if a call is made from the door
intercom.

VOLUME CONTROL
It increases the volume of music and bass, treble and balance levels.

VOLUME CONTROL
It lowers the volume of music and bass, treble and balance levels, it allows the call zone to be located for
intercommunication, and deactivates the options of the different menus.

CALL / CANCEL BUTTON
It activates the call function for general intercommunication and intercommunication with a specific zone once
it is located, or it responds to a call for the control unit. It allows the active menu option to be cancelled and
to exit a menu to return to a previous menu.

CALL LAMP
The lighting of this lamp shows that the intercom function is available.

CANCEL LAMP
It indicates the possibility of cancelling the active menu option.

INFRARED RECEIVER AND INTERNAL MICROPHONE
The instructions transmitted by any remote control unit, by infrareds, are picked up by the D48U Control Unit
and sent through the installation to the Central Unit. The M19N capsule can be connected at the central unit
and placed on the infrared receiver of the music equipment. It is thus possible to control the music equipment
from any room in the same way as if you were next to it.

DISPLAY
It displays information using alphanumeric texts and arrows, indicating the functions that are active.
OPERATION
1. - Once the D48U module has been correctly installed, all of the functions of this module will be available.
2 . - When the music source is not on, the display backlight remains low so that it doestn't disturb but still
brights enough for the time to be clearly seen.
3. - When the music source is activated, the control unit returns to its status prior to being switched off both
with regards to preset station and volume and all other parameters: surveillance mode, alarm clock, etc.
In this state the volume can be controlled with the
/
keys.
4 . - Regardless of whether the music source is on or not, a general call can be made by pressing the
button
and the setup menus can be accessed by pressing the
MENU
key.
