3.7 Brake Release Unit
3.7.1 Overview
It is designed based on the motion without driving source in chapter 5.13 of GB11291.1-2011.
The robot can move all axes without a driving source in emergency or abnormal situations.
The purpose of the brake release function: in an emergency or abnormal situation, one person
can release the motor brakes of each axis of the robot and move each axis of the robot.
3.7.2 Location of Brake Release Unit
As shown in the figure, the brake release unit is located at the bottom of the control cabinet
panel. Please read the brake release unit and its operation steps carefully before using it.
