Installation and Service Guide: Printer Controller EB-34

Replacing Parts

The UIB cable is routed from a connector on the User Interface Board to a USB connector on the motherboard (see

Figure 19

on page 49).

To remove the User Interface Board

Shut down and open the EB-34 (see pages

To access the User Interface Board, you must remove the side, top, and front panels.

Detach the UIB cable from the connector on the top of the UIB.

Detach the UIB cable by grasping the cable connector. Avoid pulling on the cable.

Remove the four screws that secure the UIB to the mount on the top panel.
