Service and maintenance
Note!
Observe all safety
instructions.
To ensure the longest possible service life and low wear and tear, the EFA trimmer must be checked and
serviced regularly.
Service and maintenance work must only be carried out by instructed personnel.
Only use genuine spare parts or spare parts recommended by
Schmid & Wezel GmbH Maschinenfabrik

8.1
Daily cleaning
Trouble-free continuous operation can only be guaranteed if the EFA trimmer is kept perfectly and hygienically
clean at all times. In the normal course of events, the device should be cleaned before each use.
Observe the safety instructions in the product
data sheets of the cleaning agents.
8.1.1
Disassembly
Cutting hazard!
Wear cut-resistant safety gloves!
Remove both screws (1) of the gear unit cover (2)
and retain them,
see Fig. 8.1
.

Dismantle the blade,

Loosen both screws (3) on the blade fixture
(4) until the blade fixture can be removed,

Warning!
Cutting hazard!
Before carrying out any maintenance work, switch off
the device and disconnect it from the electrical system
or compressed air network!
