5.3.2
Setting the depth stop
Loosen the locknut (1).
Set the desired depth of cut by turning
the star screw (2).
“CCW – Counterclockwise”
Counterclockwise rotation:
decrease depth of cut.
“CW – Clockwise”
Clockwise rotation: increase depth of cut.
Secure the setting by tightening the locknut (1).
5.3.3
Assembling the sharpening unit
The sharpening unit is also available without a depth stop.
Remove the cover,
see Fig. 5.5.
Mount the sharpening unit (1) on the EFA trimmer in
place of the gear unit cover using the screws (2).
5.3.4
Installing the suction unit (EFA trimmer 35 only)
Remove the screws (1) of the gear unit cover (2) and keep
them.
Remove the gear unit cover (2).
Mount the suction tube (3) on the EFA trimmer in place of
the gear unit cover using the screws (1).
Unscrew the union nut (6) and pull the hose unit (7) off the
valve housing (8).
Pull the hose guide (5) over the hose unit (7) and screw it to
the valve housing (8) with the spacer sleeve (4).
Push the hose guide (5) onto the spacer sleeve (5) and
clamp it to the spacer sleeve (4) with the union nut (6).

converted to the EFA RME.
In conjunction with a
vacuum system (available
as an accessory), the spinal
ganglia can be separated
without damaging the spinal
meninges and the spinal
cord can be sucked out.
