If DTL (Device Translator) or IDMX is selected the GPIO’s functions are disabled. If the
source is an Editor you can select for both GP Inputs and Outputs:

; these functions are device dependable:
Microphone devices:
a blinking LED on the PFL / monitor selector indicates an active
incoming cough on one of the external microphones. An active incoming cough
function will mix all active microphones and route them to the monitor. The signal to
the main output is disabled.
