Newborn insert and lumbar wedge
Removing the wedge (cont.)
• This exposes the wedge as pictured above. Pull out the wedge.
• Re-install the lining.
• Check if this brings your babies shoulders back to level with the
second belt rung. If their shoulders still pass the belt route, take
out the insert cushion (see next section).
Removing the insert cushion
• If after removing the lumbar wedge, your baby’s shoulders still
pass the second shoulder belt route, it’s time to remove the insert
cushion.
• To do this, first remove the shoulder belts from the splitter plate
at the back of the capsule shell as pictured above.
• Pull the shoulder belt through the cushion.
• Remove the insert cushion and re-install the shoulder belts.
