Fall Arrest
Due to the weight of the
Magg™ 480 vehicle, the Minitracs™ will back drive and not hold the position of
the vehicle during power loss or power shutdown. A lifeline or fall arrest system should be used at all
time when the vehicle is navigating on a vertical or inverted horizontal position.
Attach some form of fall arrest to one or both of the lifting handles or the harness block attachment point
as shown below.
WARNING: Falling Hazard
– Fall arrest system should be used during vertical or
inverted horizontal operation.
Shipping
The
Magg™ 480 vehicle uses two very powerful permanent magnet modules to adhere the vehicle to a
wall or pipe. Always use a steel box to shield magnets during shipping.
WARNING: Magnetic Hazard
– Always pack the vehicle in its steel shipping
container to shield magnets during shipping.
