the bodymarker graphic.
Probe/Graphic button can be used to toggle between moving the transducer icon and moving
the bodymarker graphic. The active function is highlighted in yellow.
Deleting a body mark:
There are two ways of deleting a bodymarker graphic:

Press Delete on the touch screen to delete the graphics on the image area.
 Press the Clear hardkey to delete all bodymarkers, comments, and measurements.
7.3 Measurements
NOTE : This section provides general introduction of generic and application
measurements. For details about specific application measurements and calculations,
please refer to the system Advanced Manual.
The Measure function lets you perform measurements on a live or frozen image. The Measure
function is invoked by pressing the
Measure hard key on the console. Figure 7-3 shows an
example touchscreen for Measure.
There are two types of measurements:
Generic Measurements : These are simple tools like Distance or Area. There is no specific
anatomy associated with these measurements and they do not appear in a report.
Application Measurements : These are measurements for specific anatomy or clinical conditions.
The results can be entered into a report that can be printed later.
On the Measure touchscreen, the lower part of the touchscreen shows Generic Measurements.
These are different for each imaging mode, but are the same for all presets. The upper part of the
touchscreen shows Application Measurements. These are different for each imaging mode and
each preset. See section 8 for details on how to configure these.
