In the map mode you can switch to display of the current location of the

Android-device by tapping the

icon. If the coordinates are determined, the

current location will be showed with a green

icon. The icon turns gray if you

lose a signal from the GPS-receiver.

There is also an option to switch to a satellite view of the map and back using

the

icon.

Attention! The function of tracks display on the map will work only if your
Android-device has a continuous access to the Internet. Some charge may
apply for this service according to your operator tariffs.

To start recording the track, tap the

icon – a window with a suggestion to

give name to the track and add a comment will appear on the display (see Fig. 2.59

(a)), enter data (if necessary) and tap OK. Track recording starts and an icon

appears used to pause recording (see Fig. 2.59 (b)). As soon as you pause recording

an

icon appears, which allows finishing track recording, and an icon

that

allows you to continue recording the current track (see Fig. 2.60). Manual

recording icon

allows you to save points anytime, regardless of the track

recording settings. Manual recording option can be disabled in the settings menu
(see Section 2.11).

To finish the track recording you must tap the

icon, or exit the mode of

track recording. In the latter case, a window appears warning about record pausing
after exiting the mode of track recording.

Each point corresponds to the icon of green, yellow or red color (depending

on the dose rate of gamma radiation). By tapping the icon, you can view the date of
recording and the dose rate of gamma radiation in it and then proceed to more
detailed data (you need to tap on the data display area on the required point).

Attention!    Google  Play  services  should  be  installed  on  your  Android-
devices  to  display  the  map.  If  the  map  is  not  displayed,  you  will  see  a
massage  on  the  screen  about  the  need  to  install  or  update  Google  Play
services and links to download the program.
