To connect the Android device to the detector, do as follows (see Fig. 2.2):
1 Press the on/off button on the detector’s housing to turn the detector on.
2 Make sure a green LED is blinking at high frequency.
3 Run the Virtuoso application on the Android device.
4 If  the  required  detector  has  already  connected  to  the  Android  device,

choose it from the list in the start window (see Fig. 2.2 (4а)).

If the Bluetooth-device of the Android-device is turned off, you will be

asked for permission to turn it on. It is necessary to allow enabling the Bluetooth
device. Proceed to 4.2. If the initial window does not display the detector’s number
go to 4.1.

4.1 Tap “Search”. If the Bluetooth-device of the Android-device is

disconnected, you will be asked for permission to turn it on. It is necessary to allow
enabling the Bluetooth device. The Android device will perform search and show a
list of found “VIRTUOSO” detectors (see Fig. 2.2 (4(b)). Choose the necessary
detector from the list.

4.2 Confirm (if necessary) the creation of the Android-device/detector pair

(see. Fig. 2.2 (4(c)). This detector will be "bound" to the Android-device and
connected to it.

To view the information about the “bound” detector, tap the “Menu” button

on the Android device, and select the “Settings” icon. In the application settings
window that opens, touch the “Detector” item in the “Measurement” category. The
settings screen of the detector will appear.
