In the event of a chimney fire, the fire door and ash pan must be tightly closed and the local
fire brigade alerted immediately.

The Ecco Stove 580EC2 when used slowly releasing heat may be left after its last firing for
many hours with the stove pipes damper (if fitted) closed to slowly release heat into the
house on a falling heat.
Should it be preferred this heat is later topped up, a fresh fuelling may be undertaken and
initial firing procedures followed. The method should then be continued with two fills of
fuel (or more) before the appliance is left to release its heat slowly.

Continuous burning: The Ecco Stove 580EC2 may be run as a continuous heat producing
appliance and after which may then be allowed to burn out and continue its role as a slow
heat release appliance until its next refuelling period.
