Menu navigation
The functions in EB Therm 800 are arranged in a system of menus and sub-
menus. The Main menu always contains three submenus
TEMP
,
PROGRAM
and
SYSTEM
. There are further choices under these.
The first time the thermostat is started, a number of requisite values must
be set in the START menu (see page 8). The START menu is then not shown
again: the thermostat always opens in display mode (see page 9).
The thermostat has two modes for background lighting, full and half strength.
If no buttons are pressed for 30 seconds, the background lighting reverts to
half strength. By pressing one of the three buttons, you can change to full
strength; the thermostat remains in display mode.
The menus are reached by pressing a second time in display mode.
The top row is always the name of the menu you are in. Use or to move
the round marker; the marked line you are on blinks. Press to select the
marked alternative. At the bottom of each menu there is an
EXIT
, which re-
turns you to the previous menu.
To reset the thermostat to factory settings, use the
RESET
function, which
you can read more about on page 16.
