How to Install the Dip Stick

Special Instructions

Installation of the dip stick can be done in the vertical
or horizontal position.

Special Tools

Typical service mechanic tools are needed.

To Install

If previously removed, install the dip stick
connector O-ring and connector. Tighten to 34-48
Lb

·ft of torque.

Install the dip stick tube and tighten the dip stick
tube nut. Tighten to 35-45 Lb

·ft of torque.

Final Check

Make sure the parts are properly torqued.
