System Operation
4.1 CONTROLS AND INDICATORS
During normal operation the UPS functions automatically. operator accessible
and indicators enable monitoring of the system status, manual
system shutdown and system start-up. Location
of
each and indicator is
given on the following page. Their individual functions are described as follows:
4.1.1 Controls
Used to start-up the UPS.
UPS OFF
Use to shutdown the UPS.
HORN
SILENCE
Use to silence the audible alarm; The Horn Silence push-button when pressed lights
indicators as a Lamp Test function; The Horn Silence push-button is also used to teat
audible alarm.
POWER
The button will trip,
CB2
and CB3 breakers; shutdown the
Rectifier; load interruption will occur. T
O
react the POWER button,
NOTE:
Do not close CB3 until EPO been identified.
Indicator Lights
These are normally invisible indicators. on the front control panel, which
illuminate when the appropriate condition is active.
NORMAL
The NORMAL light is on when UPS is in operating mode. The
NORMAL
