Connecting the EBM

NOTE

You can connect only one EBM to the UPS.

To connect an EBM to the UPS:

1.

Verify that the EBM is installed in the rack cabinet directly below
the UPS.

2.

Align the EBM power cord with the EBM connector on the UPS.
FIrmly press the power cord into the UPS. See Figure 14.

NOTE

A small amount of arcing might occur when you connect the EBM to the UPS. This is

normal and does not damage the unit or present any safety concern.
