Test of the Relays
Check the wiring of the relays by calling Test TRIP function in
either of the following ways
•
BCM Test/Reset button
•
Fieldbus Control word
ModBus register = 600
This simulates the tripping of the overload relay. The main cir-
cuit to the motor has to be interrupted by the relay.
After the Test button is released, the overload relay must be
reset in the same way as after a trip.
Operational Status Signaling
After switching on the motor, the overload relay signals the
operating state via the integrated status-LED. The LED signals
the operating state of the relay in the following ways:
Input Status LEDs:
ON = Input active
OFF = Input Inactive
An LED test is performed after every
reset or whenever commanded to
from the network. LED tests will
cycle through both colors on bicolor
LEDs. The test lasts ~2 seconds.
Output Status LEDs:
ON = Output active
OFF = Output Inactive

missing or broken (MM or BUI)
- Green, Flash Rapid (50 ms ON/50 ms OFF) = Device discovery
