When the TFA STS is configured for top cable landing, power cables do not have be run down the rear of the
unit for attachment from the bottom. Cable length requirements are thus reduced, reducing customer
conductor costs.

Grounding for the WaveStar TFA Static Transfer Switch must comply with local building codes and National
Electric Codes.

The TFA STS has a single-point ground bus plate on the lower front left side with (16) x 0.562" dia. holes. STS
internal ground connection takes (1) position. Lugs are provided by others (specifically, by the Installer). All
input and output power feeds must include an equipment grounding means as required by the NEC and local
codes.
