3.3 EBM Connection
A small amount of arcing may occur when
connecting an EBM to the UPS. This is normal and will
not harm personnel. Insert the EBM cable into the UPS
battery connector quickly and firmly.
1. Fix the rail on the back of the rack
2. Fix the rail on the front of the rack using the two holes
at the bottom.
3. Fix the ears plate to the UPS.
4. Place the UPS on the rails and fix the ears plate to the
top hole of the rail.
5. Connect the EBMs power cable and the attached
battery detection cable as shown in the picture
6. Verify that the EBM connections are tight and that
adequate bend radius and strain relief exist for each
cable.
