The graph shows the measured PSD values for each data point, and sinusoidal curves fitted to the data points. For an
ideal coupling with no backlash, perfect bearings, etc, the fitted lines will follow the measured points smoothly. Devi-
ations between data points and the fitted lines indicate measurement errors or other imperfections in the machine or in
the setup.
