Installing your car stereo

Pontiac

Sunfire 1995-1999

To install your car stereo:

1

Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit.

2

Open the glove box, then remove the two exposed Phillips screws on the right edge of 
the radio trim bezel.

3

Unclip the bezel, then remove it.

4

Remove the two 7 mm hex-head screws that secure the factory head unit, then 
disconnect the wiring.

5

Locate bracket set 9.

6

Go to “Completing the installation” on page 76.
