Installing your car stereo

To install your car stereo:

Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit.

Remove the two screws that secure the lower steering column panel, then remove it.

Remove the two exposed screws on the left tab of the radio trim bezel.

Open the glove box, then remove the two exposed screws on the right tabs of the radio
trim bezel.

Cut and remove all mounting tabs on bracket 6

except

the B tabs. Each mounting tab

has a letter stamped on the back of the tab. Cut the tabs with the blade pointed away
from you and your fingers.

Go to “Completing the installation” on page 76.
