Disposable reagent tips are used to dispense reagent fluids on the instrument. Reagent tips are
in a rack of 98 tips as shown in Figure 1-6 and loaded through the Consumables drawers on
the right side of the instrument. Reagent tips are to be picked up by the reagent pipettor from
tips housed in the rack boxes. The used tips are ejected back into the same location from
which the tip was picked once the tip has been used.
A tip can dispense 20 µL-1200 µL in single-shot mode and 20 µL-550 µL in the multi-shot
mode.
The Reagent Pipetting Accuracy is:
< 2% of target volume in operating range (single shot) based on using a new tip
< 5% of target volume in operating range (multi-shot) based on using a new tip
< 5% of target volume in operating range (single shot) based on reusing a tip
Note: Accuracy specification based on using de-ionized water.
The Reagent Pipetting Precision is:
< 3% CV at 10 shots at any volume in operating range (single shot with a new tip)
< 5% CV at 10 shots at any volume in operating range (multi-shot with a new tip)
< 5% CV at 10 shots at any volume in operating range (single shot reusing a tip)
Note: Accuracy specification based on using de-ionized water.

Note: Reagent dispenses are performed in Multi-shot mode, when the dispense
