Soft Start schedules
For environments where soundmasking is being
integrated into an existing non-masked environment it
may be desireable to gradually introduce the masking
levels.
Assigning the Soft-Start schedule
To join a DS8000 to any of the available seven sound
masking schedules simply double click the schedule text
box and select the desired schedule. Only one schedule
is available for assignment to individual DS8000s.
DS8000s or Zones may be assigned to both reoccuring
soundmasking schedules and one-time Soft Start
Schedules at the same time.
Editing the Soft-Start schedule
Unlike reoccuring schedules, one time schedules do
not repeat. User selectable criteria is the start date, the
amount of attenuation and the duration of the soft start
in days. One schedule is available for assignment to
individual DS8000s as shown below.
