Swivel-mounted chassis leg
For certain operating requirements, e.g.
to ensure accurate edge grading, the
right-hand chassis leg can be folded in
hydraulically until it lies flush against the
outer edge of the vehicle.
- Evenly and carefully lower the ma-
chine onto the milling drum and raise
the left-hand chassis leg until it is no
longer in contact with the ground.
- Close the non-return valve (1) on the
chassis leg to prevent the leg from
lowering unintentionally.
- Pull pin (2) and swivel in wheel by
hand.
- With the wheel in retracted position,
secure by placing pin in bore (3).

If the chassis leg is retracted, the direc-
tion of rotation of the wheel must be re-
versed!
The changeover valve in the hydraulic
circuit is located in the wheel bracket on
the swivel-mounted chassis leg.
Depending on the chassis leg’s position,
the hydraulic circuit of the drive may
have to be changed over to achieve the
same direction of rotation.
- Fit the socket head in the accessories
to the square-head pin (4) and alter
the direction of rotation by turning it ei-
ther left (ccw) or right (cw).

If the planer is fitted with the hydraulically swivel-mounted chassis legs, locking using
a pin (2) as described above is not used.
The chassis leg must be fully retracted before it can be swivelled.
