Installation Manual
1. Introduction
The D4220 is a high performance narrowband general purpose telemetry receiver, particularly suited
to security applications. It has the following features:

Externally powered by a 12V nominal power source

2 receiving channels expandable to 8 using a D4221 expander

Auto-learn programming feature

Eight different devices can be learnt-in per channel

64 devices can be learnt-in in total

9 modes of channel operation including a powerful control option

RSSI display mode

Individual changeover channel relay outputs

Unit tamper output

Separate radio device tamper output

Remote reset input and front panel reset button

Optional dipole and directional Yagi antennas on 5 metres of cable for exterior

The receiver can be used as a standalone unit or in conjunction with other control systems. The
display will show the radio system status and the first alarm or telemetry signal to be received.
