To Display RSS
The RSS is the receiver signal strength. It is displayed from 0 to 9 where 9 is maximum strength.
The receiver will operate reliably with signals of strength 2 or greater.
1. Enter programming mode and using the STEP key through the LEDs until the RSS
and PROG LEDs are lit
2. Press SELECT key to enter the mode and using STEP and SELECT keys, choose the
channel position to be displayed and press SELECT

The last RSS value to be received will be shown as a sequence of channel number, position
and RSS value i.e. 3D7 (pause) 3D7 (pause) etc...

The display will be overwritten with any other signal received while in the RSS display mode
3. The RSS display mode can be quit by pressing clear
3.4.3
To Turn Supervision On and Off
Supervision is used to periodically test that all system radio devices are working and can be
received. If there are no signals received in 20 minutes from any individual radio device, a radio fault
will be generated; if no signals are received for 2 hours, a radio tamper will be generated.
1. Enter programming mode and step to the RESET LED using the STEP key
2. Press SELECT and an S will be shown on the display
3. Press STEP to toggle the supervision on and off, the decimal point will light when the
supervision is on
4. Press SELECT to confirm the choice and quit by pressing CLEAR
3.5 Factory Reset
This will remove all programming in the Receiver and test the EEPROM.
•
Remove power from the Receiver
•
Press the STEP button and hold it
•
With the STEP button still held, reconnect the 12 volt supply
NOTE
: all previously programmed data will be lost
If the test fails, the Receiver will produce 5 short beeps.
When the test is successful, the Receiver will produce 2 short beeps followed by one long beep.
The unit is now powered up and ready for use.
