2. Installation
2.1 Board Removal
The plastic lid is removed by unscrewing the two lid-securing screws. Remove the PCB by
gently pushing the plastic clips towards the centre of the unit while pulling on the receiver board
as shown:
Do not use the display as a grip when easing out the receiver board.
Choose a suitable mounting location. It is important to take the following precautions when locating
the unit to ensure maximum receiving range and radio performance.
2.2 General Location Tips and Notes
•
Do not mount the unit within 3 metres of any source of interference – this includes:
o
Computers, including computer peripherals, hubs, routers, printers…
o
Telephone base stations e.g. telephones using DECT radio communications
o
Other alarm peripherals, especially items with microprocessors
