6 Getting Started
6.1 Connecting a Test Object to RMO25W
Before you connect a test object to RMO25W, make sure that:
• the test object is disconnected or separated from its circuit in accordance with
the national safety regulations and is properly grounded to protective earth,
• RMO25W itself is properly grounded. To do so, connect the grounding screw
on the back of RMO25W’s to PE using a grounding cable.
• That one end of measured windings was properly grounded.
C A U T I O N
FOR SAFETY REASONS, ALWAYS ESTABLISH THE CONNECTION OF
DEVICE WITH TEST OBJECT IN THAT WAY AS AT THE FIGURE 6-1.
DO NOT DISCONNECT LEADS BEFORE LED DISCHARGE AND THE
BUZZER ARE OFF.
