7.3 Starting RMOWin-W
Connect the RS 232 port of the RMO-W Winding OhmMeter and the PC, with a
serial cable.
Turn RMO-W on.
Start RMOWin-W:
- Click on ”Start”,
- Click on ”Programs”,
- Click on ''RMOWin-W’’,
- Click on ‘’RMOWin-W’’,
or duble click at icon on the desktop.
The look of the RMOWin-W main menu is shown in the following illustration.
If in the ”Communication” field the green led-diode and the sign ”ON” are lit, the
communication has been established and the program is ready to be used.
You can change port:
- Click on ”Tools”,
- Click on ”Choise of Comm Ports”,
- Click on the chosen port wich is not in use,
- Click on ''OK''.
