RMO25W Getting Started
6.3 Measuring with RMO25W
Before a test can be started, test current, number of active channels, memory
position and the test duration time need to be defined using the
Curr
menu.
Once these parameters are defined, press
ENTER
to change to the
Test
menu.
The
Test
menu displays the selected test current and its duration defined. If one of
these values has to be changed, press
STOP
to return to the
Curr
menu.
The flashing green LED indicates that RMO25W is now ready to start the test.
Press the
Ω
button to run a test.
During the test, both the green and the red LEDs flash alternately and buzzer
beeps. When the current is stabilize, RMO25W start measure the resistance of
the test object.
The display shows test curent (here
10,1 A
) and the current value of the
measured resistance (here
356 m
Ω
on channel 1
and
288 m
Ω
on channel 2
).
The time passed since the test begining is also shown on the display
(here
55 s
).
Test could be accomplished two ways:
- Pushing
to
STOP
button,
- Automatically after to expire of selected time.
When measeremet is complete RMO25W goes to the
Res
menu and starts
current discharging. During current discharging, discharging LED lits and
beeper buzze. Discharge is complete when LED discharge and the buzzer
are OFF.
Upon completed test at selected memory location the last measured result will
remain registered.
