RMO200D Getting Started
Press the
START
button to run a test. Upon completed test at selected memory location the measured result
will remain registered. It is the current through circuit breaker (difference between total test current and
current through current clamp meter), contact resistance of circuit breaker and the time when test is
performed. When defined test current could not be reached, RMO200D displays maximum possible reached
current.
The accuracy of measured resistance in this menu is lower then accuracy in
Single
or
Contin
menu due to
accuracy of current clamp meter.
Connecting of current clamp meter
Connect cables of the current clamp meter to the appropriate input terminals of device. By pressing the side
button open the current clamp meters jaws and clamp one conductor only. The jaw must be firmly closed
around the conductor. Make sure that conductor is passed through middle of
the hole of current clamp
meter. Make sure that the angle is 90 degrees between central axis of conductor and plane of hole of
current clamp meter. The red LED light continuously indicates that current clamp meter works correctly. In
case that red LED is blinking it is necessary to change the battery. Select current range of
1000A
. The
current clamp meter is ready to use
.

6.6 Viewing the Test Results
Once a Single or CC
test is finished, RMO200D automatically changes to the
Result
menu to display the
test results.
For Continuous Test only the last performed test is shown.
Note:
If the defined test current could not be reached, this could be due to a too high contact
resistance of the test object and/or of the current cables.
The test current value displayed here is the maximum test current reached.
