Floor installation
FLOOR TRIMS
Floor trims need to be cut to fit
Fix them using 55mm screws at intervals of 300-400mm
Pre-drill holes for screws!
IMPORTANT - For optional extra Floor Insulation please refer to the
information at the back of the manual.
FLOOR BOARDS
Floor boards run at right angles to the bearers
Use 40mm nails and nail through into the bearers beneath
1 nail per connection!
Leave a 5mm expansion gap between the wall and the first
floor board
Leave a 2mm expansion gap between each floor board
Leave a 5mm expansion gap between the wall and the last
floor board
You may need to cut the last floor board

IMPORTANT - All angle-cut floor boards are supplied in standard length (the longest that
may be required). Those floor boards are required to be cut to suit on site
(single, straight cut) as shown below, to fit in-between the wall and
the door fame, leaving approx. 5mm gap either side.
