8 Operation hints
8.1 Operation
Attention:
Before starting, the following
safety instructions must be read
and observed necessarily.
Non-observance may cause
hazards of persons or damage
machines!
First, connect the supply voltage to the motor. Thereby
pay attention to the correct polarity and height of the
supply voltage. After this, connect the control inputs
(IN1, IN2 and, if necessary, the set value voltage for
the motor speed).
Note:
The motor may not be switched on/off via the supply
voltage (as long as IN1 and IN2 are on a fixed voltage
level), because an undervoltage detection could happen
under certain circumstances. If the motor is switched
on a short time afterwards, the processor makes no
„reset“, because he still works with residual voltage. If
the fault is not reset properly via “OFF” (IN1 = IN2 = 0),
the motor start can fail sporadically. For reset (confirma
-
tion), the motor must be transferred into status “OFF”
(IN1 = IN2 = 0) at activated supply voltage.

8.1 Inbetriebnahme

Eine Nichtbeachtung kann zu
Gefahren bei Personen oder
Beschädigungen an der Ma-
schine führen!
Zuerst die Versorgungsspannung an den Motor an-
schließen. Dabei auf richtige Polarität und Höhe der
Versorgungsspannung achten. Erst danach die Steuer-
eingänge (IN1, IN2 und ggf. die Sollwertspannung zur
Drehzahlvorgabe) beschalten.
Hinweis:
Der Motor soll nicht über die Versorgungsspannung
ein-/ausgeschaltet werden (solange IN1, IN2 auf
festem Spannungspegel liegen), da es beim Ausschal-
ten unter bestimmten Bedingungen zu einer Unter-
spannungserkennung kommen kann. Wird der Motor
kurz darauf wieder eingeschaltet, macht der Prozessor
kein „reset“, da er noch mit einer Restspannung arbei-
tet. Wenn der Fehler nicht durch „AUS“ (IN1 = IN2 = 0)
sauber zurückgesetzt wird, kann der Motor sporadisch
nicht einschalten. Zum Rücksetzen (Quittierung) muss
der Motor bei eingeschalteter Versorgungsspannung in
den Zustand „AUS“ (IN1 = IN2 = 0) versetzt werden.
